Welcome to The Council of Bens!
We are a community movement dedicated to creating positive change through collective action. Our mission is to bring together people with positive BENergy from all over the world to work towards a common goal: making the world a better (and Benner) place.
Our community is built on the values of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration. We believe that by working together, we can achieve great things. Whether it's through volunteering, fundraising, or advocacy, every member has a role to play in creating a brighter future.
Now a Community Interest Company (CIC)
Until now, The Council of Bens has been entirely self-funded. We’ve recently been accepted to become a Community Interest Company (CIC) a special type of organisation in the UK designed to ensure that activities are carried out for the benefit of the community, rather than private profit. This means that any contributions, grants, or funding we receive are legally bound to support our work and our community purpose.
Being a CIC allows us to continue creating safe, inclusive, and creative spaces where communities can connect through music, play, and culture, while ensuring that your support goes directly toward meaningful projects and social impact.
