I recently finished the NHS Couch to 5K program (which I’m proud of) but I’ve found that keeping it up has been really challenging mentally. The pressure to improve can sometimes take the joy out of it.
It was a really nice day yesterday, and after reading about the brilliant message of this group I decided try a different approach to my running.
No Strava, worrying about pace or timings, I just got out of the house to see what would happen. It turns out a little bit of kindness to yourself makes a world of difference! It was a very nice run in the end (pic attached from just after I finished).
It’s so important to keep sharing the message of kindness to yourself and others. Thank you Anna for helping to create such a meaningful and positive legacy for Ben.

My sister said the same, she finds Running is Extra Nice without strava. I don’t run so I’m in awe of you 🐝💛
